Go Exclusive Loading POI's

Just purchased the Go Exclusive. Previously had a Go Camper. What is the process for loading your own POI's?

Best if you do not believe Google.

It is impossible to load an *.ov2 file, or any other file containing a collection of points, to a TomTom Exclusive.
The most that is possible is to provide it with individual 'favorites'.
 
Did anyone ever manage to do this?

I just got an Exclusive yesterday, and am so far completely unable to get new POI's to sync to it. I imported them into plan.tomtom OK, but they're not showing up on the actual device (both ends are logged in).

Why on earth would they disable the ability to import POI's? If that's the case, then I guess it'll be a return job for me :-(

If anyone has any update or been able to do this, would be very grateful. Tried all the Google answers already...

Your GO Exclusive is not compatible with adding personal POIs.
 
Wow, thanks. That's so dissapointing, and I wish they'd said that at the point of sale.

It'll be a return then.
