Go Discover memory card?

My old TomTom GPS required a micor SD card. Does the new Go Discover use one and where to install it? I don't see a slot. Thanks.

The Go Discover does not have an additional memory card slot. They have enough internal memory to meet all requirements.

That is useless. At least with the older models you could have an additional memory card so that you can have maps from all over the world. The only reason why I use a TomTom is the convenience when travelling around the world that you can plug it into a rental car and have all your destinations preloaded. Now you have to delete maps before you can add anything outside Europe, which takes forever. A total waste of over EUR300 for a previous century bit of technology

The GO superior 7 has 32 GB of internal memory so you have plenty of room to add maps.

After all of europe I have less than 5GB of that 32GB free. You think the rest of the world will fit?

I have no choise but to agree. After all of europe I have less than 5GB of that 32GB free. I dont think the rest of the world will fit.

You don't have to install all the world maps on your GPS.
It is very easy to remove a map of a country to add the map of another country.

The whole of Europe is about 9 GB, so you should have about twenty GB left to install other maps.

Sounds as though you've got more stored on your device than you think, or an issue with storage. Even the latest Europe map versions 'with buildings' don't take 27GB.

Perhaps you have some duplicates on your device? It's rare, but I've seen it happen. Check carefully what is available in memory.
