I have an old go910 that I think I have accidentally deleted wrong files from loquendoTTS folder it is 3.18 gb in size and now I have no computer voices available. It used to tell me street names now all I get is options to choose voices that only say turn left or right etc not street names. Is there anywhere I can download the folder or missing files? Any help is appreciated.

The 910 voice files are not available for download, your best bet is to find someone local with a 910 and grab a full copy of their LoquendoTTS folder - Mike

Does anybody have a copy of this folder that I can purchase from them. I am hoping that this will fix my problem. I miss the street names being called out as it is so usefull when driving.

Have you tried Aussie support? Perhaps a compassionate CS agent may make that file available via email to you.

(I don't suppose you have a backup available, do you?)

I no longer have a full LoquendoTTS folder from my 910 which died a while ago but what I do have will still work as it came from a back up of the device when it was still working, only the following voices are left in it:

    UK Kate
    UK Simon
    US Dave
    US Susan

The issue is even this is 1,3GB in size so uploading the whole lot to somewhere on the net will take ages, what I would like to do is work out whats missing/ wrong then I can send over only the files really needed to fix your device. I used DriveZ to produce the following list of files which can be downloaded from Here

I am going to post each folder content seperately otherwise the post will be over the 1K limit

This is what you should have in the LoquendoTTS folder:

    EnglishGb (Folder)
    EnglishTE (Folder)
    EnglishUs (Folder)
    lib (Folder)

The remainder are all files in the LoquendoTTS folder:

    Amalia.vde
    Bernard.vde
    Carmen.vde
    Dave.vde
    default.session
    Dutch6.5.lde
    EnglishGb6.7.lde

NOTE file and folder names are case sensitive and its known issue when Home ruins this folders contents by making everything lower case - Mike

Thanks for your reply I have had a quick look at the folders and files and it seems I have more in some and less in others. It's very late here and am off to bed but will go through all of them tomorrow. I may have a later version as the first thing I did notice was the files are all 6.8 and 6.9 not 6.7 6.8 not sure if this makes a difference.
Will let you know how I get on and post the differences. Thanks again for your time.

The later 910 devices used a different Hard Drive and could have contained later Loquendo files but the early files will still work on a later unit (I know mine was an early unit).

If you can work out whats needed/ different use DriveZ to list the contents of the LoquendoTTS folder and sub folders, this way we can also see whats missing from your device - Mike
