Hi there, I have had this going for nearly two weeks now. I have one Speed Camera Alert update that will not complete - as in I get told to contact the TomTom Support Team.....of which I know that is a waste of time.

I have had a few other smaller updates go through, but this same one of 465kb will not update or complete - looks like it goes through the update process, and the unit says I am up to date sometimes, other times it just says contact Support.

Any brilliant ideas out there? I tried re-starting after one occasion....no bueno.

I guess pictures will help people understand....

That was in sequence..... a never ending circle.

I can't help, but my GO6200 does exactly the same, and has done for a while now. The same sequence of events. Updates available, start to update, via WiFi and it freezes. The only way to progress is to keep rebooting. Eventually, after numerous "failed to update", "Your device is up to date". Then "Updates available", rinse and repeat! Useless.
Time to ditch TomTom I think,

I even tried to disable updates, and it still came back saying an update was available.

Could this be a bug? It's happened before that after downloading the file, the update would reappear immediately.

Contact TomTom to report this issue, then wait for TomTom to resolve it.

The GO 620 or GO 6200 receives updates in real time, so you'll be notified of the presence of a speed camera.

Thanks....I'll try reporting from the device. 👍

GO620 doing the same thing in Oz. The update file size is 11 megabytes. A little while back (I think after system update) it started to wanting to install the speed cameras for every country map it has in the world when I only have Australia, NZ and USA.

Uninstalled USA map and same happens. Used MyDrive Connect, can’t uninstalled all the speed camera files. Reset device 3 times, still wants to installed 11 megabytes. TomTom support (still ongoing) advised me to do what I have already done. Most of the time the update, update fails with same orange Failed Contact Support banner.

Interesting....my file was 465kb. The latest few times I have started the device that update has not shown...so fingers crossed it has resolved itself. I'm still curious as to what happened. I expect it will happen again sometime - maybe an automated "But a new device" will occur.

Install the radar files one by one and see which file is blocking.
MyDrive Connect, will not allow me to uninstall any of the speed cameras for all the camera files or any one file. When it looks like it is doing some deletion update, the device simply wants to automatically re-update a smaller file size or then goes back to updating the 11 megabytes again. no matter what I do in MyDrive Connect, nothing seems to successfully go back to the original updating file size from a few months ago.
