Was working fine in Australia, but now in Canada and the US, giving this message for live traffic and speed camera updates ? Feel like I’ve tried everything.., any suggestions ?

Are you able to log into their system to connect to your favorites, etc. on the planner?

I don’t know how to log into their system, or what to do if I can ?

Is there an 'X' on the car icon in the top-right corner of your GPS screen?

To connect to the traffic service, go to Settings > TomTom Services and enter your TomTom account credentials: email address and password.

Willy is asking you to try to log in to the TomTom servers just to be sure you have a proper internet connection back to NL. It isn't necessary to be logged in to receive traffic, but that will indicate whether there's a proper internet connection there for traffic to flow.

If you have never created an account at TomTom, go to planner.tomtom.com and do so there. Then use the same email and password on your device to try to log in to TomTom services as a test.

Another thing. Your provider MAY NOT automatically give you WiFi hotspot access in a foreign country, or it may cost extra to add that to your data plan. If so, the test above will most assuredly fail, as will traffic reception.
