GO 510 Free Map Updates..

Turning to this forum again for help...

I have an old GO 510 which was sold with lifetime free maps. This device has not been used for quite a while - but I'd now like to resurrect it.

After successfully updating to Application version 25.100.0001.311, I have tried to update my maps - but am repeatedly asked for payment.

I can't find the free map update link/portal.

Where can this be found? Advice would be appreciated!

This means that updates have been disabled.
You must contact TomTom Support to have them reassign you updates.

Similer Problems! My Tom Tom 400 came with LIFETIME updates to speed cameras, but I am now being asked to renew my subscriotion as my Lifetime updates have expired!

I solved this problem with the help of TomTom's customer service desk.

I followed the advice in their message below. It worked!

As I can see that device is not getting recognised due to which updates are not offered. This issue can occur due to the below reason: 1 - Not using a original TomTom USB cable 2 - Using USB hub port to connect the device to computer 3 - Using device mount to connect to the computer.
