GO 500 error

I have not updated this for about 10 yrs so trying to up date it now so when I plug it in my laptop (running win vista 64bit) detects it as u expect but the "MyDriveConnect" (latest version) just sits there & can't find the tomtom go 500. Help plz

If an older model Go 500, you need Home 2, not MyDriveConnect. Get it at tomtom.com/getstarted. Put in your country flag and model to get the Home link.

Once you connect with HOME and you updated, it may ask you again to update as it will brig your device in stages to the current system.
Don't be surprised if that is happening.
