I have a 2535TM that has a bad battery and tried to connect to PC for total restore(when the gears are showing). It can not connect to my PC to download the resore from the web. Is there a way to get to the unit from my PC? I would like to install a TTS voice and I can't using the my tomtom software as it does not see the unit.
I am planning on changing the battery to see if that helps. Tom Tom told me they do not have a service dept for out of warrentee units and I am on my own for repairs. I was nto happy about that, but a battery change is easy enough, Still need a way to connect to my PC. Any Help will help
