free map updates on XL models

I just got a XL 335t. Does it have the free 4 map updates a year? If so, how do I do this in HOME? It seems like they want me to pay 39.95 for a map. Will a free map update show up once a quarter?

Also, how often are map shares put out? I am getting the 20 week old message.

Unless you bought a model that specifically was a M model, then yours does not include lifetime maps. You are eligible for one map update to the latest (860) within 30 days of first use.

It seems though that you have updated to the 860 since you see that faulty message all updaters to 860 first see.
