I noticed that the FM transmitter is more powerful at low frequencies. I tried 89.7 and was able to travel all the way from Boston to NYC with no interference.

At one spot it even overpowered a real radio station. (I noticed when I turned the Tomtom off at a rest area.)

For those looking for a station, try the lowest ones you can. Hope this helps...
