[Fixed] Screen blanking Go Camper Max

Was in contact again with tomtom. They received several complaints about this issue. Currently they have no idea what the root cause is.

Just installed a software update on my device.
I have now 25.102.0008, but since they do not know what the root cause is, this update will not solve it.

Turned my Camper Max on after reading this post. Giving it a go.

Will see if it's fixed.

A few days ago ( before the update)
I made 2 test drives of 25 km each. During each drive I had the screen blanking.
Today, after doing the update, I made another trip , this time of 45 km.
I drove the whole trip and had NO blanking. Coincidence? Is hopeful.
Looking forward to hear about your findings.

Made another test drive. Another route and about 54 km. Again, no problems. No blanking.
Should this be the solution?

Missed the release of this one! Saw the "RC poll" two weeks ago, but missed the release announcement.

Have been wondering if this will resolve the problem having to do with crashes during sync'd routes? Sounds different. Fingers crossed.

I was away when this update came out so didn't risk it. I hope it works, it sounds promising - I will test it as soon as I have a trip out.

Have tested today on a home to home route with two waypoints in a loop.

No screen blanking. But did notice a reluctance to re-route if you stray off the "blue line" route.

Today's test route had more than one possible route from A to B. Only one from B to C, and two from C back to D (also A!)

More testing to follow.
