First Day with my TomTom

Hello, I just got a TomTom Start 20 off of Facebook Marketplace today because I needed a cheap navigation alternative to my phone. I look through the maps and I see some companies where the logos actually appear on the POI, such as Papa John's and McDonald's. I would like to know if this is something individuals are able to do themselves and how I would be able to add logos to my TomTom Start 20 device map if I am able to do so. Apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere or if this is the wrong area to post this thread.

There are some sites that provide both the POI (*.ov2) file and the icon file (*.bmp) that goes with it, or you can create your own icons. The base filename of the two files must match exactly for them to be paired by the device. The *.bmp files should be 25x25 pixels, 24 bit color depth.

• Prepare the somefile.ov2 file of a specific POI category or download it from one of several POI sites
• If not included, make the somefile.bmp 25×25 pixels 24 bit and use a conventional Windows bitmap format.
• Connect the START 20 by USB.
• Right-click the MyDrive Connect tray icon in the lower right corner
• Choose Manage community content.
• Add the .ov2 and the .bmp to the device.

With MyDrive running, it may also be possible to make contact with your connected Start 20 with your browser at http://169.254.255.1/pcmi/ to see what has been sent to the Start 20.
