Extended mount for TomTom Expert 7

Hi

Can anyone help?

Looking for an extended windscreen mount for an expert 7”, so it brings it closer to me as the windscreen is a long way away.

Lots of third party mounts I’ve seen, but I believe TomTom don’t use a standard size ball mounting.

Does anyone know of anything that will fit, the sucker on my mount broke today, and although I could just buy a standard size mount, I only need the sucker part not the click and go mount as well.

In my opinion, the GO Expert 7 is too heavy for an extended windshield mount; the GO risks falling.

I don’t think so, can practically hang off some of those windscreen mounts

You need to find a windshield mount that is compatible with your GO Expert 7.

Yes that’s exactly what I need to find, and preferably one with a slightly longer reach than the 1” or so it’s got now.

It doesn’t need to be 12”, just a bit longer.
I mean it’s designed for a truck, truck windscreens are quite a long way away, so the mount that is designed for a car isn’t adequate.

Funny you should mention that because that’s exactly the solution I’ve decided to go with, different make of beanbag mount, but yea, should work ok.

Also had to buy a new windscreen click and go mount as mine stopped working.

For our 2 cars, we use those " beanbag" since 6 (?) years .
