I've noticed an annoying bug. If a highway turns left while an exit goes straight, tomtom doesn't mention it as an exit.

Sometimes, it'll say keep right, sometimes it doesn't acknowledge that you have to do anything at all.

What's worse, if you have to do a left turn after the exit, Tomtom sometimes just says "turn left", and you never know you have to exit right before turning left.

I've even seen it do this with a Reality View, where the whole screen shows a reality view left turn, when a right lane exit has to happen first. Try 15 north merging onto 91 north in Connecticut.

Examples from Boston include:
Storrow Drive north, exiting to Hwy 28
203 east exiting to south street
storrow drive westbound, exiting to Western Ave

Interesting, mvl.

Do the ALG arrows match the incorrectness reflected in the road curves/exits at that time -- especially the ALG when Reality view kicks in?

The ALG arrows also skip the exit when the following step is a left turn, and just direct to the left turn.

They don't skip the exit if the next step is a right turn. But the voice doesn't say anything other than "keep to the right, then turn right". What I usually do is mapshare the name of the ramp as "exit ramp "so that it says "keep to the right on exit ramp then turn right".

But the exit ramp trick doesn't work if the following step is a left turn, tomtom just says "turn left on *** road"

The Reality view matches ALG. The Connecticut reality view example was an exit right, then keep left (on the fork) scenario. The tomtom just said "keep left", ignoring the exit ramp. The reality view only showed the "keep left" image, even before the right lane exit.
