execution helper?

What is the program "execution helper" used for? I installed it in my 920, I thought there might be an icon and would allow me to connect to the computer without rebooting. There is no icon so I cant launch any program. What is the program doing? Thanks, Doug

He found it on Joghurt's 3rd party firmware (calculator, flashlight, fuel calculaor, etc.)
