Event Logger Questions

So, I installed Event Logger on my ONE 3rd & after conquering the re-re-reboot issue, I have a couple of questions:

If I disable the auto-run Daemon & just press the "Log POS to Itinerary" as needed, will this give me "On-Demand Logging" behavior? As opposed to logging everything all of the time. Or is there a better way to do this in EL?

Also, will using the method above re-activate the Daemon?


I only need the device to log my weekend cycling trips, not every time I get groceries or commute to work.

I haven't tried that. I just take the lazy approach and delete the files that I don't want to keep!
