hi i have a tomtom 950 live when i switch it on i get a message saying ( unable to store settings file access error) can any body help

Try downloading and running the Clear Flash tool 3 times. It doesn't give very much feedback, you just click 'install' each time.

HOpefully that will fix it, but if it doesn't, with the 950 connected to the PC, browse inside the folder for the map you're using, and check the properties of the MapSettings.cfg file, to see if it has become "read only".

If that's not the problem, try deleting it.
A new one will be created next time the TomTom is switched on, but you will need to re-do all your settings.
