Error between map and actual locaton.

The last day,sI have used my GO730 it is showing my position to be about 0.5 to 0.75km away from my actual location.

Can anyone advise on this?

I have the same problem. Have recently changed battery, had splash screen freeze which was remedied by info on this site thanks, but now have error between map and correct position help please

Try deleting the contents of the ephem folder on your unit and any sub folders found here:
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Downloads\complete\ephemeris\

Then reset your unit using a dedicated reset hole if your model has it or by holding the power button about 15 seconds till you hear the drum sounds.
