Error and more error

Hi, I got a XXL 540 for Christmas and I plugged it into my computer and down loaded Home, Anyways I went to put a voice onto it and and its saying there is no room on the gps and its brand new with nothing on it, So I went to manage gps and deleted the start up and shut down pictures to make room, and it wont connect or update or back up, Is there anything I can do to fix this?? I have dial up and a older computer, would this effect it?

Make an Explorer, not Home, backup of your unit's contents. If not sure how, see here:

Then remove all the loose files in the root of the unit, NO folders or their contents.

Connect to Home and accept the application offered. Disconnect the unit properly from Home using the Device disconnect icon. See if that helps.

Candidly, with dial up, large downloads like an updated map will be agony......
