Entering an established itinerary

I got to the middle of a 500 mile itinerary via a route other than my normal one. Then I asked TomTom to take me the rest of the way along the itinerary. It insisted on first sending me back to the beginning so that I could start from there.

Obviously not what I had in mind.

Is there any way to get onto an established itinerary partway through, other than editing it?

I think you can mark the previous ones as 'visited' and navigate from there.

As long as you don't restore it back you can do whatever you like with the current Itinary (marke as visited as suggested by Dkoenig or delete the ones you don't want...).

Thanks to both of you for the info. Reputation points to both!

Unfortunately the part of the itinerary I skipped was a rather involved one, specifically created to route me my way vs. TomTom's way, so there would have been a lot of waypoints to check off.
