Display poi detail name not just the icon.

Is there a way to display the details of a POI on screen (on map). When there is a POI, is near then it displays only an icon. Even if the "warn when near poi" is set, it shows distance and icon to the poi. How can I display the poi name (not just category, but the actual name string present in poi file for that poi) ?

One way is Browse Map-->Icons for poi's you've selected will appear. Tap on one of the poi icons. If the address was stored with it in the ov2 file or poidat file, the address will appear (sometimes, the phone number appears).
