Destination Advice ?

How do I get a route by entering just the town name. It doesnt seem to recognise any towns unless you have an address or a POI. This is on the VIA62. Thanks

If you go to Search when the option on the top right is 'whole map' and then type in the name of the town, does it not ultimately appear on the left?

Yes but when I click on it nothing happens.

I do not have mine any longer but, I seem to remember that if you go
Menu > Drive to > Address > [type city name] you will see a selection of names below the typing.
Tap the correct one and under the grey "Enter street name" it will show your chosen city, appended by (centre).
Tap that one and a route should now be offered.
