Copy maps from another device????

Ok, so i just got my mom a new TT ONE 3rd Edition with mapshare navcore 7 and the i think version 7 maps. I was wondering is it possible to copy the map file from her device and transfer it to my v.2?

So i couldnt copy her files to an SD card and boot my TT up from that?

So what does my TT have on the SD card? It doesnt have its own internal memory so i assume it has the map files on the card somewhere. I figured i could replace my map file with her map file and load it up with the new maps. Just tryna get a feel for the tech side of these devices, so pardon all the questions.

The SD card contains all the software and maps for your TT1 v2.

Not only are the maps maps tied to an individual device, the v7 maps from your ONE 3rd Edition will not work on the older firmware version of your ONE v2 (as it is currently).

Oh ok. I thought it may work cuz i have Navcore 7 already on my TT. Just figured it'd be a simple copy and paste type of deal
