Copy Favorites from Navigator 5 to TT1 (new edition)?

Can I do this? If so, how?

P.S. I found a cached TomTom support page on Google (if you try to follow the normal link it leads to an error page) with instructions on how to do this, but it didn't work.

The Part 2 instructions should work. Have you tried that?

You mean the renaming bit? Yes, I followed the instructions fully, but it didn't work. The only thing I didn't do is copy the POIs because I don't need those, but I have a lot of Favorites which I'd like to copy over.

Hmm, just had a look at that page again and noticed this line: "Please Note: This method is not approved for devices running Navigator."

Perhaps it can't be done after all?

BTW, my TT1 today spontaneously totally reset itself. It was working fine, I then switched it off, then when I switched it back on a few hours later, it asked which language I wanted to use it in, and proceeded to ask everything it did when I first got it out of the box. It had lost all my customisations. Very annoying. I can't figure out what may have caused this. I haven't dropped it. Is this something that occurs relatively often with these devices?
