Computer doesn't say "on" or "onto?"

Just purchased my first TomTom. It's an XL 340S LIVE. I'm coming from a Navigon 7100 that I've been using since December 2007.

Anyway, the first thing I noticed is the computer voice will not say the words "on," "onto" etc.

For example, she will say "turn right highway 27 east." Maybe I'm just used to my old Navigon, but this seems really weird. I've tried different computer voices and they're all like this. Is it a TomTom thing?

Yeah, its a tomtom speech engine thing that certain words aren't pronounced clearly or at all.
