Charging tomtom xl classic from griffin itrip fm transmitter.

Hello people,

I have a griffin itrip auto universal plus fm transmitter which sends music to my radio from my mp3 player.

It has a built in usb port on it, If i plug a standard usb a - b mini cable into it and connect it to my tt xl will it charge it up on or will it blow it to kingdom come?

As long as that little box keeps supplying a clean 5V, it will eventually charge your TomTom. Certainly it won't blow your TomTom up!

The Griffin site does not say how much current it supplies, so there's no way to guess how long it would take to complete the charge, especially if you're trying to run your TomTom at the same time.
