Changing directionof auto when I starton route

I have a new XXL540TM. My question is: When I turn my unit on and it shows my home and Iplan a route it tells me to go north on my road and then go around the block to get started on my route. Is there a way I can change the arrow to show me when I start to go south on my road.

My MIO use to let me change the orientation of the arrow when I started out but I cannot find anything in the instructions I downloaded from tOMtOM to let me do that.

Try using mapshare to block the north part of your street but do not share that change with others. See if that helps.
