Car Preferences Menu Appeared

I have a "Car Preferences" icon that appeared today on my 720 but it is greyed out and cannot be selected. I don't remember seeing it there. Anyone have any information on it?

But, in fact, it CAN show as active for certain models that are docked to the unit (like the model specifically made for mounting on motorcycles).

I am not sure what you mean

Mine works. If this is what you're talking about. It changes the icon for the car.

Menu | Preferences | 3rd screen | "Change Car Symbol" | Pick and save one. I get a choice of quite a few (I dunno... 15 or 20?).

However, it will not be effective unless you are in the 3D View.

No, that's the icon preference, not the car preference being referred to.
