Can't turn volume down using mp3 player?

I've down load songs to my Go720 and they play ok, I just can't turn the volume down on the earphones and was wondering how to correct this problem.

I have the same problem. It seems like the TT720 is stuck on one volume, too loud! I ended up buying a cheap pair of no name brand earphones that have an inline volume control. My thought is that the TT720 is thinking that if TomTom Jukebox is being used that audio should be pumped out of the line out output or the FM Transmitter and it defaults to 100% volume.
