Can't launch tomtom home

I cannot load my tomtom home. It will start up and give me the following error.

HOMEServices.dll not found this is needed for the application to run.

I have downloaded the program and uninstalled and re-installed, but still have the error.

I have the dll file and tried to manually register it and got this message

loadlibrary("C:\Program Files\TomTom HOME 2\xul\components\HOMEServices.dll") failed - This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorret. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

I really need to fix this as I am going on a 600 mi trip on monday, and could use my tomtom
can anyone help?

I have been reinstalling the version from their website which is 2.3.1.92

here is a Hijack this log maybe this can help determine if I do not have a process running that is required.

*note I have installed HOME without avg and kerio firewall installed and got the same error.

Not sure what the problem is there. I can't read HJT logs

But... maybe you can install an older version of HOME from this website:

http://www.oldboy.me.uk/TomTomUpdates/

They have the last 3 versions there, V1.5.106; V2.1.2.21; and V2.2.0.33. I'm still using the 2.1.2.21 version myself.
