I believe you are limited to 28 favourites. Make them poi's.

This is easy!

First, you have to create a new POI category.
'Change preferences' --> 'Manage POIs' --> 'Add POI category'

Now, to convert your Favorites to POIs:
'Change preferences' --> 'Manage POIs' --> 'Add POI' (Choose the new category) --> 'Favorite'

This is your chance to organize your Favorites into different categories.

mostly work actually. I now have started a "work" poi. Its just a pain in the ass to add a work poi each time. too many button presses.

You can set up your quick menu with the add fav button. Store on the fly as favs. When you have downtime at home lter on, you can move a bunch of Favs over to the user-selected POI categories. You are not meant to store POIs on the fly....too cumbersome.
