Cancel Route ?

Hi, I have a 540TM, can someone please tell me how to cancel a route before you reach your destination? The little book that came with my 540 doesn't explane much at all.

Is that an XL540? I don't have the same model as you (in the UK there is a Go540) but most if not all TT models have a "Clear route" button somewhere in the menu.

Does your model have the option for a simplified menu structure? If you go to "Change Preferences" is there an option for "Show ALL menu items".
If there is, tap that and the full menu should appear, including "Clear Route".

Alternatively, if it's anything like my XL Live IQ, you get to "Clear route" by tapping the bottom right section of the status bar.

Press in main part of screen to get to the first menu. I believe you hit the blue arrow in the lower right twice to get to the correct screen. Press "Clear route".
