Can I Save an Alternate Route?

Is there a way to save as a ?Favorite? an alternate route?

Scenario- Sitting here at work I can map the route to the house which sends me to the interstate. However, I use another route and using the ?Alternate Route? feature it gives me exactly the route I want.
Right after setting the Alt Route, I used the Favorite feature to store the route by selecting my home address from ?Recent Destinations?. But when I select from the ?Favorite? menu it maps the Interstate route.
So can the alternate route be saved or will I need to manually select the alternate route every time?

routes cannot be saved as favorites. For the ONE V2 you can make an itinerary and save the waypoints and use this as an alternative.

But for the most part just use Work or Home as the favorite and the ONE will recalculate to the alternative once you are on your way.
