"Calculate Alternative" vs "Recalculate route" options

Hi,

On my XXL 540, the main menu has a "Find Alternative" menu option. Selecting it gives the following button choices:
1 - Calculate Alternative
2 - Avoid Roadblock
3 - Travel Via
4 - Recalculate Route
5 - Avoid Part of Route
6 - Minimize Delays

What is the difference between options 1 and 4?
When is option 6 used? It has always been greyed out for me.

Here's a link to the XXL IQ routes manual in the UK (equivalent pretty much to the NA 540 XXL). Look at the section on 'Finding Alternative Routes'

Minimize Delays is used in conjunction with the traffic antenna to find a better route.......

Thanks, that would be great, although you may have forgotten to add the link to your post. I'd like to have a manual, my unit did not come with a manual and I don't see an XXL manual on the website - I'm probably looking in the wrong spot or something.

Thank you so very much for posting this link. This is exactly what I have been looking for. Why in the world does TomTom not put this information in the manual with the unit, or at the very least make it available on their website? This will save me from asking many questions on this forum for relatively minor issues.
