browse a map

How do you move around when you are browsing a location say Lisbon, when I try it keeps going back to the location I am in IE Peterborough

What TomTom model are you using?
(I only ask because some menu items have been renamed).

I assume you are using the "Browse map" or "Show map" menu to get to the map screen?

Once there, you should be able to just move the map about by dragging with your finger (or you can use "Find" to move to any particular spot).

I believe they call the one that comes dockable in his Toyota Yaris the TNS410. Having never seen one, I couldn't imagine what his was doing bouncing back from one position to another under "Browse map", either.

@YarisOAP: When in "Browse map", I have never seen a unit that did what you describe.
