Broken TT One V4 map swap

Hi.
I'm new to this forum.
I have Two TT One V4. One with UK maps, the other with W Europe maps. The screen on the latter broke. Can I swap the Europe map from the damaged unit over to the UK only device?
If this is possible (or legal) should it be via a backup or should I copy files over using Win XP explorer, or disk clone software?

I can still connect the broken device to a PC.

Unfortunately, you can't. Maps are locked to the device first installed upon and are not transferable.

V Frustrating. Will have to repair or buy new. Perhaps try Garmin. I have 4 UK only Tomtoms of various ages and only 1 Europe.

If you're brave... you could open them both up and try swapping the screens over... :thumb:
