Breadcrumb feature on the XXL?

I inherited a TomTom XXL 540. Does this model offer a so-called 'breadcrumb' feature that would show me the path I've taken, either on published roads or though an area with no maps?

I need to be able to backtrack my way out of areas with no roads or published maps.

If the XXL doesn't offer this, can anyone reccomend a different model or brand that a does?

No TomTom model offers this as standard, but there is a "third-party" add-on program called "Tripmaster" that would do it AFAIK.

As timegoes by, TomTom have made it harder and harder to keep these programs running on their devices, but *I think* you can still use it on an XL.
