BMP image for POI

I have a custom set of POI for a grocery store in the midwest and I tried making an icon for the POI. I found an image on google, saved it as a bmp file, and resized it to 22 x 22 pixels. It works on the TT Home menu, but shows up only as a red square on my Go 510. Any idea why?

The filename of the *.ov2 and *.bmp of the custom POI need to be exactly the same.

I don't get it. I made sure that everything matches correctly, but I still cannot get it to show up correctly. I triple checked everything and it's all sized and named correctly, I even did it over several times with the same results.

Is there anything else I could try? If not, it's not a big deal.

Make sure the resolution or dpi is around 72.

That didn't work either, I changed the DPI from 96 to 72, but it's still a red square. hmmm...
