Bluetooth connection Samsung SPH m300

The Tom Tom list of compatible phones is crap along with tech support. After having trouble after pairing a samsung SPH M300 & getting "service not available"I tried tech support. Their answer was useless only indicating Bluetooth 1.1 & profile DUN required along with the usual "we don't know everything statement.
I decided on a second try after easily setting up a Sanyo Pro200 (also missing from their list) On the second try the SPH 300 hooked up fine.

So before buying a phone off their list at $149 I got a phone at $0 that works. Don't beleive the experts!

Tomtom tests a limited number of phones in their lab. Their tech support is trained to not spend time troubleshooting untested phones, but many more phones work that are not on the list.

Samsung SPH 300 working with Go 720

For the hell of it I deleted & repaired the phone . It now works calling out & answering.
