Blue Tooth Connectivity

My Tom Tom One recognizes my HTC ST7 series cell phone and ATT&T as my provider, but somehow can not connect so I can get traffic and road construction data as I travel. The automatic connect feature fails and suggests manual, but I can not seem to get the ATT&T codes which will allow me to connect. I have been told that someone here may be able to help . . . I hope that is the case
