Basic file requirements for voices

I was culling voice files to free up space and probably deleted a file I should not have. What basic files are needed to run the voices? Where are they available? I have downloaded some new voices and they don't work. These new voices consist of 3 files each, *.chk, *.vif, and *.bmp. The original Susan voice I kept has *.tlv. Thanks in advance

Each voice requires the .chk, .vif, and .bmp files. I think the .tlv is some sort of file that TomTom uses to update the voices in your account. Which voices are you having trouble with?

Thanks for your reply. My TT can see "Susan" among others, but no voices come up. The start up music is present so the volume is OK. Trying to get the computer voice.

OK, figured it out. Silly simple. I just had the setting wrong on the voice output preferences. Thanks for the suggestions!
