Avatar problems!

Hi all,

Just joined. Anyone know why I can't add my avatar to my profile?

I cannot uncheck the 'don't us avatar option' for some reason.

I have the same issue. I guess we have to reach a number of posts before we can edit this option.

The ones having this problem; are you trying to link an avatar from another server, or trying to upload your own?

It looks like those who are uploading theirs to this server are able to display avatars correctly..please let me know.

Thanks Jason,

It is now fixed. I didn't have any options to upload or link to an avatar before. Only the first box (don't use avatar) appeared. Now I see the upload options too.

I would never link to an avatar as that as bad mojo. Using someone elses bandwidth without even generating hits for their site, that's not very friendly. IMHO it's bandwidth theft, if you don't you have the xplicit permission of the owner of the server hosting the image.

Also I have increased avatar size to 120x140
