are the maps used in one 3rd is the same as 510

I have a tomtom Go 510 and we purchased another one 3rd g yesterday
I am using home 2 now and i upgraded my go 510 to the lastest firmware but maps are 665, so they are out of date to use map share.
can i copy the maps form this 3rd generation and use it on my go 510 ??

Also, do i need to purchase SD card 2G to my 510 go if this will not work and if i will need to update it from the internet through my tomtom home2, or the 1 gig will work fine ?

how to downgrade my GO 510

Can someone confirm to me if mapshare was active in my go510 home 1.5 and 6.x application version? i think no but i wan to be sure
Also need to know how to downgrade back i have application 7.x but i am thinking to downgrade , can u please help me ?

the map is same for all TomTom X, if your TT device can handle it (with enough space hold it)
