Are My POI's Updating?

TomTom Home shows I have updates available and when I tell it to go ahead and accept the updates I get the various categories crawl across the screen, and then they disappear. I get no confirmation that the updates have been done successfully.

Then I run it again a minute later and I go through the same process. Should not the TomTom One know that I have the most recent update for POI's or are they coming in all the time, minute by minute.

I just want to confirm the the POI's are actually being updated. Is there anyway to do that?

The list of map patches are in the %Temp% subdirectory (windows os machine) listed as "TomTomMapPatches-xx". xx is a number that starts at 1 and increments by 1 every time an update has occured. The file size varies, I assume, based on the amount of updates contained within.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<amp:patch>AQIA2ygbAAkA</amp:patch>

</amp:patchResponse>

The updates should automatically get applied. Unless you get an error, there must just be several updates available for you.

So once I run out of updates it will not offer a list of POI's to be updated? I did get an error once or twice, but since then I did not get a error. And I've taken at least two more updates since the errors ended.

If for some reason the unit isn't taking updates should I reset it and start over? I do have several back-ups.

Thanks for the help.
