I have an A/C charger with 12 volt out from my PDA, but the TomTom car charger is only 5 volts output.

Anyone know what the official TomTom AC charger outputs or if would be okay to use the one I have?

What I like for an AC charger is any of the very compact new AC adaptors with a female USB connector. Many manufacturers are designing their devices so they can be charged by the 5 volts on the USB connector of your of your PC or laptop. This makes these new USB supplies very versatile. You simply use the USB cable that came with you TomTom or other device. I bought one for my daughter's ipod for $6 but I have seen them up to $40.
