Any way at all to backup a TomTom with 10.x firmware?

I realise this is a long shot. I read in this stickied thread that "App 10.x devices no longer permit direct file access by the computer operating system". Is there any way at all around this? I just bought a TomTom GO Live 820, more specifically the Top Gear version. I want to back up the Jeremy Clarkson voice pack to my computer, just in case. Unfortunately it doesn't show up as "Community Content" that you can backup via MyTomTom.

Is there any way around this? Any way to downgrade it to the older firmware that permitted direct file access? Any app that can somehow access it where Windows can't?

Welcome to TTF.

Unfortunately there is no way to back up the file system in that model. As well, commercial voices, like maps, are locked to the device initially installed upon, so I'm not surprised that you can't back up his voice.
