Though I’ve posted two threads(in the past few days, with respect to this anomaly, I felt the need to create still one more.

The other day at the Toyota dealership here in San Diego, it was deduced TomTomGo was “failing” in its voice guidance, per my prior postings, e.g.: abbreviated/truncated voice messages.
WAZE was activated, and all seemed well, and I posted same.
Yes, I asserted: “all seemed well”.

Yesterday, Saturday, I subjected WAZE to more rigorous testing and lo and behold, WAZE also suffers from voice guidance truncation, albeit to a lesser degree than TomTomGo.
Correct: strong assertion and not an opinion, as I had a passenger in the vehicle during testing and we BOTH could hear WAZE guidance was truncated/clipped/abbreviated.

Examples:
- TomTomGo: In three-hundred feet make a left turn onto Genesee ……..
- WAZE: In three-hundred feet make a left turn onto Genesee St……..
- TomTomGo: Make a left onto Nobel Drive and then make a right onto Ju……..
- WAZE: Make a left onto Nobel Drive and then make a right onto Judicial D……..
TomTomGo’s guidance loses about three to five syllables.
WAZE guidance loses one to two syllables.
Repeatable? YES!!

As an IT person, with multiple years of experience, it is my assertion, the Android Auto APP REQUIRES additional “silent” characters at the end of the guidance messages it prcesses and announces.

Again, for completeness, my radio is OFF, thus no extraneous noises.
Defaults are employed for both APPS.
