For those interested, I made a simple addition to my TomTom Go Internal Memory and my SDHC card that customizes how Windows Explorer shows the Icon and Drive name.
All you need to do is copy the following two files to your TomTom's internal memory and your TomTom's SD(HC) card.......both of these memories show up individually in windows explorer so you need these two files on BOTH of the memories.
autorun.inf
tomtom.ico
Once you've copied these files to your TomTom, you'll need to disconnect and then reconnect the TomTom for the autorun files to activate.
You can customize the autorun.inf file any way you would like to change the name displayed in Windows Explorer by using a text editor such as Notepad. Here is what the autorun.inf file looks like for my INTERNAL memory:
[autorun]
action=Run TomTom HOME
open=InstallTomTomHOME.exe
label=TomTom Go 920 Internal
icon=tomtom.ico
[DeviceInstall]
#This section is empty; autorun will not install device drivers to your PC.
My Internal memory is now named "TomTom Go 920 Internal"
Here is what the autorun.inf file looks like for my SD Card:
[autorun]
label=TomTom Go 920 SD Card
icon=tomtom.ico
[DeviceInstall]
#This section is empty; autorun will not install device drivers to your PC.
My SD memory card is now named "TomTom Go 920 SD Card"
NOTE: You can also change the icon by creating a different *.ico file and referencing that file in the autorun.inf via the icon= keyword.
My Windows Explorer shows my two drives like this:
