I see on amazon.com that the 740 live new is on sale for $256. Does tomtom consider this a recomended site and would I get the latest map guarantee if purchased here.

I purchased my 740 on Amazon. At the time (1.5 months ago) the price was at $298. This was my third TomTom I purchased from Amazon in addition to my TomTom BT remote. I can absolutely recommend Amazon for any TomTom related purchases.
