This is an issue that never happened to me before. It will probably never happen again, but I thought it might be interesting.

I was driving north on I-79 in West Virginia. My Tomtom 620 alerted me to a traffic slowdown ahead about 19 miles or so. One minute delay. Then shortly later it alerted again that it was a 7 minute delay, then it became a 18 minute delay so I figured the road is blocked. Then Tomtom offers me a alternate route which I accepted by touching the green button. So far so good, I should get off at a certain exit and turn left. I get off where it tells me on a long exit ramp, and just then it alerts ding-dingding and the Tomtom green line I am following changes to tell me to get back on the interstate. So I go across the road at the exit and get back on and I soon go through a messy construction zone about where the delay looked to be which was probably what caused the alert.

I am really kind of impressed with the 620. This seems like it worked as it should. There was a delay which cleared, and Tomtom notified me of the delay and that it had cleared, and put me back on the best route. BUT... I am now back on my planned route. Tomtom is still showing the green line instead of the usual blue line. And the timeline on the right is gone. I switch to map view and it shows the green line to my destination 100+ miles ahead. I tried a few obvious things on the screen and it stayed the same. I figured it is stuck on the alternate route, but I couldn't drive the interstate and pay attention to it so I just left it that way. It stayed that way until I got up into Pennsylvania and pulled into a rest area to try to figure this out. Just as I pulled into the rest area it went back to normal. Maybe because pulling into the rest area took me off the alternate route? Maybe I'll never know, but if I take an alternate route around something shouldn't there be a way to get the timeline/screen back to normal after I get back on my pre-planned route?

Thanks
